Questions we hear the most

Honestly, far less than most people expect. We use topical numbing before any injection, work slowly, and check in with you throughout. If you’re anxious, tell us when you book — we’ll plan the visit around that, including longer appointment times so nothing feels rushed.
A routine scaling and polish is usually 30–45 minutes. A deep cleaning for gums that need more work may be split across one or two longer visits, which we’ll explain before starting.
We keep a few slots open each day for emergencies and walk-ins, but we can’t promise one will be free at the moment you arrive. Booking even an hour ahead — by phone, WhatsApp or the form — means far less waiting.
Yes. Dr. Meera Iyer focuses on paediatric and preventive care, and is very good with first-timers and nervous children. We recommend a child’s first visit by around their first birthday, or whenever the first tooth appears.
Call our emergency line for genuine pain, a knocked-out tooth or swelling. We hold same-day slots for these. The emergency number is listed separately on our contact page so it’s easy to find in a hurry.
