Yes. Every invoice carries the fields a tax invoice is required to show: your GSTIN and your client's, invoice number and date, place of supply, HSN or SAC per line, the taxable value, the rate and amount of CGST, SGST, IGST or cess as applicable, and the total in both figures and words. Numbering runs in a gap-free sequence per financial year.
Ledgerly applies the intra-state or inter-state split from the place of supply automatically. What it does not do is file your returns or replace your chartered accountant — it produces correct documents and clean exports for whoever does.
Your data is stored in Indian data centres, encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256. Backups run daily and are held for 30 days. Access on our side is limited to the engineers who need it, logged, and never used to browse customer books.
You can export everything — invoices, clients, expenses — to CSV or PDF at any time, including after you cancel. It is your ledger; we are just holding it.
Cancel from your account settings — there is no retention call and no form to request. A monthly plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. An annual plan cancelled within 30 days is refunded in full; after that it runs to the end of the year.
When a paid plan ends, your account drops to Free rather than closing. Your invoices stay readable and exportable; you simply go back to the free limits.
Yes. Import clients and past invoices from a CSV export of most books and billing tools, including Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Excel and Tally. Ledgerly maps the columns, shows you the result, and lets you fix anything it read wrongly before committing.
